Buildings with character
Neighbourhood tells stories. We like quirky spaces and neighbourhoods with history,
and our model fits almost anywhere. From old mill buildings, to vibrant mixed-use
new builds, as long as there’s room for a unique experience, we’re down. We thrive in vibrant communities where like-minded locals add to the vibe just as
much as our members do.
We repurpose, reuse, and recycle before we build from scratch
The best matches are usually existing residential blocks that can be reconfigured or offices, hotels, and hostels that can be repurposed through a change of use if the
asset and location are a good fit for our brand and growth strategy.
The sweet spot
It starts to get interesting at 80K sqft on stand-alone properties or in the mix with
other uses in larger buildings. But we can also make BIG experiences in small
spaces; especially if the small spaces are less than 20 mins walk away from an
existing Neighbourhood location.
Large common areas and open spaces
We’re on the hunt for roof terraces, lofts, kitchens, courtyards, basements and
meeting rooms that can be upcycled into exciting spaces for our members to create
authentic, meaningful connections.
